ABOUT THE ROLE

n

Working as part of an installation team, you will assist with the set‐up and installation of Christmas displays and pop‐up activations across various council locations throughout Melbourne.

n

Locations may include:

n

n
- Kensington
n
- Melton
n
- Hume
n
- Torquay
n
- Other Melbourne locations as required
n

n

Work period: November 2026 – January 2027

n

Shift length: 8–12 hours

n

Employment: Casual / seasonal

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

As a Christmas Installation Labourer, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Assisting with the installation and set‐up of Christmas displays and pop‐up sites
n
- Loading, unloading and moving equipment and materials
n
- Assisting trades and installation teams on‐site
n
- Using basic hand tools and equipment as required
n




- Following instructions and site procedures
n
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
n
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet installation deadlines
n

n

ABOUT YOU

n

We are looking for individuals who are:

n

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands‐on work
n
- Able to work long shifts of 8–12 hours
n
- Comfortable working outdoors and across different locations
n
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team
n
- Flexible with availability throughout the Christmas installation period
n
- Professional and safety‐conscious
n

n

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

n

n
- Previous labouring, construction, events or installation experience is highly regarded
n
- Previous scissor lift experience is required
n
- Scissor lift ticket/licence or relevant certification where required
n
- Ability to safely perform manual handling and physical work
n
- Reliable transport to and from various Melbourne work sites is highly regarded
n
- Availability from November through to January
n
- Must have the right to work in Australia
n
