About the role

n

Join our Kitchen team as a Full-time Kitchen Hand, supporting our chefs and wider Kitchen team to keep our busy resort kitchen running smoothly.

n

This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with dishwashing, cleaning, basic food preparation and maintaining clean and organised work areas. You'll work as part of an experienced kitchen team and help maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness throughout each shift.

This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking and enjoys practical work in a fast-paced team environment.

Duties

n

n
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
n
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation as required
n
- Ensure food items are stored and labelled correctly
n
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately
n
- Restock cleaning supplies and keep work areas clean and organised
n
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
n

Skills & experience

n

n
- Previous Kitchen Hand, Kitchen Steward or similar experience is desirable but not essential
n
- Reliable, punctual and willing to get involved in a hands-on role
n
- Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene and detail
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Food Safety Certificate or equivalent is desirable
n
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
