Job Description Approximately * hours per week across Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with occasional weekend availability required.
We are looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of our boutique hotel.
This is a hands-on role involving a variety of general maintenance duties across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
Key Responsibilities Carrying out preventative maintenance across guest rooms and public areas Performing general repairs and maintenance as required Using and maintaining general tools and equipment confidently and safely Completing basic plumbing tasks, including unblocking drains and attending to minor leaks Performing basic painting, patching and general repair work Responding to reactive maintenance requests as they arise Assisting with contractor coordination and site access, where required Ensuring all maintenance work is completed to hotel and brand standards Accurately recording completed maintenance tasks and reporting any outstanding issues Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised work environment Holding a White Card and being prepared to undertake relevant maintenance duties This is a hands-on role where pride in workmanship,



reliability, attention to detail and a calm, guest-focused approach are highly valued.
Qualifications Desirable qualifications: Formal trade qualification or relevant vocational training Experience working within hospitality or heritage building environments Familiarity with hotel maintenance management systems such as hub os Above all, we value capability, consistency, and a positive can-do attitude.
