Our client, a State Government department, is seeking skilled and customer-focused Service Officers to join their debt recovery team.
This is a fast-paced contact centre workplace where you will engage with members of the public and businesses to resolve outstanding debts through full payment or structured payment plans, all within strict legislative guidelines.
This front-line service role will see you handling a mix of inbound and outbound calls, working within a structured setting where accuracy, resilience, and professionalism are key.

What you will bring:




Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilitiesProven experience in collections, government call centres, or working with legislation is highly regardedStrong problem-solving and analytical / invetigative skills (such as skip tracing)High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to efficiently navigate multiple computer systems to input, manage, and analyse informationPrevious experience working in a high-volume customer contact environment

Additional Requirements:
