About Oaklands

n

Oaklands Child Care and Kindergarten is a boutique early learning long day care childcare centre and kindergarten located in East Brisbane. We are wholly owned by Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie).

n

As a centre with 99 places, we provide a peaceful environment for our children and parents and offer a variety of outstanding early learning programs. Our employees are part of a tight-knit team that shares in the administration and running of the centre collaboratively. The leadership and culture of our centre are very open and transparent and as such, many of our employees have been with us for a long time.

About the role

n

As an Early Childhood Teacher,



you will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of your assigned room. This includes;

n

n
- Assisting with the development, implementation and reflection of the educational program, in collaboration with the Educational Leader, to provide a high-quality program for all children and families;
n
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children; and
n
- Providing leadership and support to educators and staff within the assigned room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.

About you

n

As the successful applicant, you will have:

n

n
- Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA)
n
- Current Blue Card for child related employment
n
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
n
- Current working rights for Australia
n
