Advent Security is seeking reliable and professional Security Officers to join our team at a busy shopping centre in Dubbo.

The successful applicants will provide a visible security presence, assist customers and tenants, respond to incidents, and help maintain a secure and welcoming environment.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the centre and surrounding areas
n
- Respond to alarms and incidents
n
- Assist customers, tenants and centre management
n
- Manage antisocial behaviour and de-escalate situations professionally
n
- Respond to emergencies and liaise with police and emergency services when required
n
- Complete clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
n
- Monitor contractors, deliveries and access to restricted areas
n
- Maintain a professional and approachable presence at all times
n

Essential Requirements

n

n




- Current NSW Security Licence
n
- Current First Aid.
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Confidence dealing with conflict and difficult situations
n
- Good written English and report-writing skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

Previous shopping centre, retail or customer-facing security experience will be highly regarded.
