We're looking for an experienced Breeder Farm Manager to oversee the daily operation of our breeder farm near Nagambie. This is a hands‐on role responsible for managing farm staff, bird welfare, production performance, biosecurity and farm maintenance. You'll be leading a small team while ensuring the farm operates safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.

About the Role

Reporting to the Victorian Breeder Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

n

- Managing the day-to-day operation of the breeder farm
n
- Leading and supporting farm employees
n
- Monitoring bird health, welfare and flock performance




n
- Ensuring biosecurity and farm procedures are followed
n
- Managing egg collection, handling and quality standards
n
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs across the site
n
- Maintaining production and compliance records
n
- Participating in weekend and after-hours coverage as required
n

About You

n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience managing or supervising a poultry farm or intensive livestock operation
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills
n
- A practical, hands‐on approach to problem solving
n
- Knowledge of animal welfare and biosecurity requirements
n
- Experience working with production targets and farm records
n
- A current driver's license
n
- The ability to work in a physically demanding farming workplace
n
