Job Description

You will work alongside experienced carpenters, leading hand, site supervisor and project management team across a variety of residential projects. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice who wants to build their skills properly, work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain exposure to a broad range of carpentry and residential construction.

Key responsibilities

n

- Assisting with and learning all aspects of residential carpentry, including timber framing, fix-out and finishing carpentry, external cladding, decks and external works, doors, windows and hardware
n
- General carpentry and construction duties
n
- Reading and understanding plans
n
- Site preparation and organisation
n
- Working safely and maintaining clean, professional sites
n

About you

n

n
- Currently completing a carpentry apprenticeship and in your 2nd or 3rd year
n
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
n
- Have your own reliable vehicle
n
- Hold a current White Card
n
- Willing and able to travel to projects throughout Sydney and surrounding areas
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Willing to learn and take direction
n
- Take pride in the quality of your work
n
- Able to work well as part of a team, culture is important to us!
n
- Understand the importance of safety on site
n
- Respectful when dealing with clients, trades and other team members
n
- Own and maintain a basic set of hand tools required for carpentry work
n
