Job Description

KitchenCraft Design Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Microvellum Designer / Drafter to join our team in Boronia.

This is a full-time role for someone with solid Microvellum experience and a good understanding of cabinetry manufacturing and installation.

n

You'll be responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings and production information, working closely with our project, factory and installation teams to make sure drawings are practical, accurate and ready for production.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare shop drawings and production drawings using Microvellum
n
- Produce cabinetry and joinery drawings for manufacturing and installation
n
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and project information
n
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections and construction details
n
- Prepare material, hardware and assembly information for production
n
- Coordinate with project managers, factory staff and installers
n
- Pick up and resolve design or production issues before manufacture
n
- Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation
n
- Make sure drawings meet project requirements and relevant standards
n
- Manage multiple jobs and meet drawing deadlines
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Minimum 3 years' professional experience using Microvellum




n
- Experience in cabinetry, joinery or kitchen manufacturing
n
- Good understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, hardware and manufacturing
n
- Ability to read architectural and construction drawings
n
- Experience preparing shop drawings and production documentation
n
- Positive understanding of installation requirements
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Good communication and organisation
n
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
n
- AutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant design software is an advantage
n
- Cabinet making or factory experience is highly regarded
n

- Salary of $85,000–$95,000, depending on experience
