Black Rock Inn, located in Blackwater, is looking for a motivated Kitchen Hand / Cook to join our friendly hospitality team at our on-site restaurant 21 Doon. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your confidence and further develop your cooking skills within a busy restaurant and accommodation environment. Working alongside our experienced chef, you'll assist with food preparation, cooking, kitchen service, cleaning and maintaining high food-safety standards. You'll support the delivery of quality meals for motel guests, local diners, functions and corporate groups.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and cooking

- Cleaning and maintaining high food-safety standards

- Support the delivery of quality meals for motel guests, local diners, functions and corporate groups

- Work efficiently in a busy kitchen

- Work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

About you

- Available Monday to Friday - Dinner Service Only (some weekend work for functions)
n
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience
n




- A genuine interest in food and cooking

- The ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen

- Good communication and time-management skills
