About the Role

n

You'll work closely with customers across the Melbourne region to grow United's rental access business, build market presence and identify new opportunities.

n

This role will suit someone with sales experience who is confident building relationships, enjoys being out in the market and is ready to develop their career in business development and equipment rental.

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Growing the rental of access equipment across your territory
n
- Identifying, prospecting and securing new customer opportunities
n




- Developing and maintaining robust relationships with current and existing customers
n
- Identifying opportunities to increase market share and grow rental revenue
n
- Conducting customer visits and understanding customer equipment requirements
n
- Preparing quotations and working with customers to deliver suitable solutions
n
- Achieving business goals in line with budget requirements
n
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM records
n
- Working closely with internal teams across rental, sales, service and parts
n
- Monitoring market activity and identifying opportunities for continued growth
n

About You

n

You're enthusiastic, commercially minded and motivated to build a successful career in sales and business development.

n

You will bring:

- Experience in sales, business development or a similar customer-facing role
n
- A strong desire to develop your career and take the next step
n
- Confidence building relationships and identifying new opportunities
n
- A positive, proactive and results-driven approach
n
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
n
- Strong communication, organisation and computer skills
n
- An understanding of equipment, machinery, construction or hire/rental will be highly regarded
n
- A current driver's licence
n

Industry experience is not essential. Full product training will be provided, including comprehensive training across our access equipment range.
