Trade Assistant / General Labourer

Location: Yarra Junction, VIC

Rate: $45 per hour + travel & meal allowances

n

Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm | 10-hour days

n

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants / General Labourers to join our client on a construction project based in Yarra Junction, Victoria.

n

This is a hands‐on site-based position supporting general construction activities. We are looking for people who are comfortable using hand and power tools and are ready to get stuck into a range of site duties.

The Role

n

n
- General labouring and construction site support
n
- Installation of temporary fencing
n
- Installation of silt fencing and sediment controls
n
- Safe use of hand and power tools
n
- Assisting trades and other site personnel as required
n
- General site clean‐up and maintaining a safe work area
n
- Following all site safety procedures and instructions
n

What You'll Need

n

To be considered, you will need:

n

n




- Valid Construction White Card – essential
n
- Previous construction, trade assistant or general labouring experience
n
- Confidence using hand and power tools
n
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
n
- Reliable transport to and from the Yarra Junction site
n
- Your own Hi-Vis workwear and steel‐cap safety boots
n
- A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
n

n

All other required site PPE will be provided.

n
