Part-Time / Casual Handyman and Property Maintenance Worker

LUMYH is seeking a reliable and practical team member to undertake handyman work, gutter cleaning, gardening, rubbish removal and general property maintenance.
This is a part time or casual position, with additional hours potentially available during busy periods.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress to full time employment.
The role includes both independent and team-based work.
Applicants must be confident working alone, managing an allocated schedule and completing jobs without direct supervision, while also working cooperatively and safely within a team.
Key responsibilities
Minor home repairs, basic carpentry, patching, sealing and assembly
Repairing or replacing doors, locks, handles, flyscreens and fixtures
Vacuum gutter cleaning and inspections
Lawn mowing, edging, brush cutting, hedging, pruning and weeding
Green-waste, household and general rubbish removal
Pressure cleaning and external property maintenance
Taking clear before-and-after photographs
Following company safety procedures
Leaving every property clean, tidy and safe
About you




Relevant handyman, property-maintenance, gardening, gutter cleaning or rubbish-removal experience
The ability to work safely and efficiently both independently and within a team
The physical fitness required for outdoor work, manual handling and rubbish removal
Confidence using hand tools, power tools, gardening machinery and gutter-cleaning equipment
Strong reliability, punctuality and attention to detail
The ability to manage an allocated schedule
Good communication and customer-service skills
A respectful approach when working with older people, people with disabilities and other vulnerable clients
A National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain them
Part time and casual employment options
