We’re partnering with a growing insurance business in Sydney's CBD who are looking for an experienced Claims Manager to lead a team of Claims Officers and take ownership of the claims function.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll have a solid influence across claims performance, customer outcomes, team development and process improvement.

The Role n

n
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Claims Officers
n
- Oversee complex, high-risk and escalated claims
n
- Monitor claims quality, KPIs, SLAs and performance
n
- Drive improvements across claims processes and customer experience
n
- Oversee recoveries and subrogation
n
- Manage relationships with loss adjusters, investigators, repairers and legal providers
n
- Handle customer escalations and support claims governance and compliance




n

We’re looking for someone with: nn
- 5+ years' claims leadership experience
n
- Commercial Property & Casualty / General Insurance experience
n
- Proven people leadership and coaching skills
n
- Strong technical claims and regulatory knowledge
n
- Experience managing complex claims and external service providers
n
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
