EVENT LABOURERS – EVENT & EXPO DISPLAY BUILDS

2026 EVENT SEASON IS ABOUT TO KICK OFF!

We're gearing up for a busy event season from starting in 2 weeks September 2026through to March 2027and are looking for reliable, energeticEvent Labourersto join our team!

n

Experience working in theexpo space, particularly building and dismantling exhibition stands and displays, will be highly advantageous.

n

About the Role

n

You'll be assisting withevent and expo bump-ins and bump-outsacross a variety of venues. This role will involve setting up and dismantling event infrastructure, displays and equipment. Bump-outs will typically take place on weekends.

n

Shifts are availableMonday through Sunday, includingDay, Afternoon and Night shifts. Please note that shifts can besporadic, depending on event schedules.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Building and dismantlingexpo stands, displays and exhibition structures
n
- Assisting with event and expobump-ins and bump-outs
n
- Setting up seating, barriers, drapes and flooring
n
- Moving and positioning event equipment and materials
n
- General manual handling and labouring duties
n
- Working as part of a team to ensure events are completed safely and efficiently
n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful in this role, you will:

n

n




- Have Expo/Event Experience:Previous experience working in theexpo space, particularly building, installing and dismantling displays, exhibition stands or booths, is highly advantageous.
n
- Be physically fit:Comfortable performing manual labour and being on your feet for extended periods.
n
- Be flexible and available:While rosters are provided, last-minute requirements can arise, so you must be available to work on short notice when required.
n
- Have reliable transport:A valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable, as work may be across different locations.
n
- Communicate clearly:Able to understand and follow instructions effectively.
n
- Have strong attention to detail:Ensuring displays and event setups are completed safely, accurately and to a high standard.
n
- White Card/Forklift Licence:A current White Card and/or Forklift Licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience will be highly regarded.
n

Pay Rates

n

$35 – $50 per hour, depending on the shift worked.
