At simplyai, we’re growing our Applied AI capability and looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer who loves being hands-on and knows what it takes to get agentic AI out of a PoC and into the real world.

n

This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your days talking about what AI could do.

n

You’ll be designing, building and productionising it.

n

You’ll work across complex client environments, building autonomous and multi-agent solutions that are secure, observable, reliable and genuinely useful. Our consultants work directly alongside client teams, so you’ll have the opportunity to influence the solution while still being close to the engineering.

What we’re looking forn

The core for us is real hands-on AgentCore experience, supported by strong engineering capability across:

- AWS Bedrock AgentCore – Runtime, Gateway and agent SDKs

- AWS Bedrock

- Strands,



LangChain or similar agent frameworks

- Production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systems
n
- MCP, A2A and tool integration
n
- RAG, semantic search, knowledge bases and vector databases
n
- Agent evaluation, observability, guardrails and hallucination management
n
- AWS engineering, deployment and Infrastructure as Code
n
- Solid Python / software engineering foundations
n

We’re particularly interested in people who can talk us through something they have personally designed, built and taken into production, including what went wrong, how they evaluated it, how they made it safe and how they knew it was actually working.

The formal brief is looking for 7+ years across software and AI engineering, with substantial LLM and agentic systems experience and a proven record of operating production AI agents at scale.
