Position Summary

n

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding sheet metal components to high-quality standards, with a strong focus on flange heater manufacturing and industrial heating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

n

Execute all procedures related to metalwork as delegated on production sheets and relevant Works Instruction Sheets (WIS).

n

Fabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, and assemblies from engineering drawings and specifications.

n

Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals.

n

Manufacture and assemble flange heaters and associated heating equipment.

n

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication instructions.

n

Cut, bend, roll, drill, and form sheet metal using workshop machinery and hand tools.

n

Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.

n

Maintaina safe and organized work environment in accordance with company procedures.

n





Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines.

n

Report and notify your supervisor or management of any problems with equipment and/or specifications on the production sheets

n

Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.

n

Provide your supervisor or management with possible suggestions and/or solutions to problems within the Sheetmetal Team or issues caused from workflows involving the other production teams

n

Ensure the maintenance of plant equipment and machinery, is carried out as required, and report breakdowns to the Production Manager

n

Notify Management promptly of any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies in specifications on production sheets

n

Adhere to additional duties assigned by Management as per operational requirements.

n

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to uphold safety and efficiency standards.

Skills & Experience Required

n

10+ years proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.

n

Strong TIG welding experience with high-quality workmanship.

n

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and engineering specifications.

n

Experience working with stainless steel and industrial fabrication projects.

n

Knowledge of fabrication equipment, tools, and workshop safety practices.

n

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

n

Preferred Qualifications

n

Experience working on Ex (Explosion-Proof) heaters and related equipment.

n

Experience in the industrial heating, oil & gas, petrochemical, or process industries.
