RRETS is seeking applications from the Civil Works Supervisor/Inspector (Road works) that meet the below criteria. The position is based in North West Queensland. We offer competitive rates on ABN contract.

Desirable skills and experience

n

n
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the supervision and/or surveillance of road construction, unsealed roads, bitumen and asphalt, surfacing, drainage structures.
n
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of RMPC and DRFA guidelines
n
- Thorough understanding of technical standard about road construction
n
- Ability to live and work in remote areas
n
- Ability to travel longer distances
n
- Ability to collect road defect data using digital devices, and straight edge or similar
n
- Ability to work versatile FIFO or DIDO roster
n




- Ability to provide technical advice concerning pre-construction, construction and maintenance
n
- Ability to conduct and/or manage audits of contractors work and ensure compliance related to approved scope, and relevant standards
n
- Monitor and report delivery of DRFA/Construction/Maintenance projects
n
- Prepare and maintain detailed records.
n
- Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management and email
n
- Ability to use apps such as Reflect, Recover, RADAR or similar
n
