Due to the continued success in securing projects,Zafa Contracting are now looking to increase our capacity to successfully deliver to our clients. We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced casual truck drivers to join our organisation.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

n

You will be completing all tasks and duties required for driving locally as well as some long-distance jobs.

n

- Transport asphalt materials to and from job sites.
n
- Operate heavy trucks safely an efficiently.
n
- Assist with the loading an unloading of asphalt products.
n
- Maintain communication with the paving crew and other team members.
n
- Make sure the load is correctly placed and secure.
n
- Ensure timely delivery of material's according to job specifications.
n




- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
n
- Carrying out the daily and weekly inspections and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
n
- Report all repairs required and/or shortcomings in the performance of the vehicle.
n
- Undertake the safe operation of the assigned vehicle within the limits of the manufacture's specifications.
n
- HR License required
n
- Construction Induction White Card
n
- Drivers License
n
- Must have experience loading and unloading materials
n
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.
n
- Ability to use initiative and communicate any potential issues or risks to the business.
n
- Be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
n
- Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
