We are currently seeking experienced Cooks to join ourcatering team on a casual basis.

About the Role

As a Cook, you will play an important role in enhancing thelives of our residents by preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meettheir dietary and cultural needs.

Working closely with the Catering Manager, Dietician andbroader care team, you will be responsible for meal preparation and cooking inline with approved menus, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring anexceptional dining experience for residents. You will also support kitchenoperations, stock control and quality improvement initiatives, while assistingwith the supervision of catering staff when required.

About You

You are passionate about food, hospitality and providing apositive dining experience for older Australians.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum12 months' experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Previousexperience supervising or leading staff
- Knowledgeof food safety standards, HACCP requirements and food handling practices
- Experienceworking within a team-focused environment with strong communication andinterpersonal skills
- Abilityto maintain high standards of meal quality, presentation and nutritionalcare




- Computerliteracy with the ability to complete ordering and invoice processes
- Abilityto work collaboratively within a team while also working independently
