Bar Sophia is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor / Senior Section Waiter to join our team.Bar Sophia is a contemporary Greek restaurant and wine bar, with a Greek kitchen built around wood-fire cooking.
We focus heavily on Greek wine, offering an extensive list that also explores Europe and beyond, alongside a robust cocktail program.We're a busy venue and we're after someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, knows how to run a good service and likes being part of the action.This is a hands-on role.
You'll be on the floor, working closely with the team, looking after our guests and making sure the venue runs smoothly from open to close.What you'll be doingRun your own section to a high standard while supporting the wider floor teamMaking sure guests feel welcome and well looked afterManaging the day-to-day running of the restaurantOverseeing bookings and service flowAssist with opening and closing proceduresAssist the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operationsHandle guest feedback and resolve issues professionallyWhat we're looking forYou'll have experience supervising a restaurant or bar and be comfortable taking charge of a busy service.
