We work across a wide variety of heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment, plant and diesel utes – so no two days are quite the same.Key responsibilitiesService, repair, diagnose and respond to breakdowns on heavy vehicles and trucksMaintain and repair earthmoving and construction equipment, excavators and loadersWork on diesel utes, 4WDs,



trailers and farm machineryPerform hydraulic systems workConduct field service and onsite repairsAssist and oversee apprenticesWork independently in the field as well as part of a teamAbout youQualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Mechanic with attention to detail and pride in workmanshipPassionate about the trade and able to assist and oversee apprenticesStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsConfident working independently in the field as well as part of a teamReliable, honest and self-motivatedGood communication skills and able to deal confidently with customersCurrent driver's licenceExperience across heavy vehicles, earthmoving equipment, hydraulics and diagnostics highly regardedAbout usSouthern Plant Maintenance is a locally owned and operated mechanical business servicing the Southern Highlands and surrounding areas.
