As we continue to open new stores nationally, we're looking for a Sales Trainer to join our team at our NSW Head Office in Roselands. You'll be the driving force behind how our frontline sales teams learn, grow and deliver the expert, knowledgeable service Sydney Tools is known for.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Designing and delivering induction and onboarding training for new retail sales staff
n
- Running ongoing sales skills, product knowledge and customer service training across our store network
n
- Getting out on the shop floor to coach salespeople one-on-one and give real-time feedback
n
- Partnering with Store Managers and Regional Managers to spot skills gaps and training needs
n
- Building a library of training materials — guides, product modules, role-play scenarios and more
n
- Mixing up your delivery with classroom sessions, floor coaching, e-learning and gamification
n
- Working with major brand partners like Milwaukee, Makita and DeWalt to keep product training current
n
- Supporting training rollouts for new store openings
n
- Tracking training impact and reporting on results

What you'll bring

n

n
- 2+ years' experience as a Sales Trainer, Retail Trainer or in a similar L&D; role
n
- A background in retail sales — bonus points if it's in tools, hardware, trade or automotive
n
- Confidence presenting to a room, and just as comfortable coaching one-on-one
n
- A solid understanding of retail sales techniques and the customer sales cycle
n
- Strong organisational skills — you'll be juggling multiple stores and a travel schedule
n
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across metro and regional NSW
n
- Genuine enthusiasm for tools and the trade industry (you don't need to be a tradie, just curious!)
