Leading Hand Concreter – High-Rise & Commercial Projects

About the role

n

As a Leading Hand at Alpha Concrete Pumping, you will lead and coordinate concreting crews on site, delivering high-rise, civil and other commercial works. You'll be responsible for coordinating crews, preparing pours, maintaining quality and making sure the work is completed safely, accurately and to programme.

Key responsibilities

n

- Lead and coordinate concreting crews on site
n
- Read and interpret structural and architectural plans
n
- Set up and use RL lasers accurately
n
- Coordinate penetrations, levels and concrete placement
n
- Conduct pre-pour checks and identify issues before concrete arrives
n
- Monitor finish, levels, tolerances and overall workmanship
n

About you

n

n




- Proven experience as a Leading Hand Concreter or in a similar supervisory position (3+ Years)
n
- Solid experience with large-scale pour-and-place operations
n
- Experience on high-rise slabs and decks or major commercial projects
n
- The ability to confidently read structural and architectural drawings
n
- Confidence setting up and working with RL lasers
n
- A clear understanding of ITPs, hold points and pre-pour inspections
n
- Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Valid and current drivers Licence
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Ability to pass police checks and pre-employment/ongoing drug and alcohol testing
n
- Strong commitment to reliability, quality, safety and productivity
