Talent Focus Education is partnering with an established 110-place early learning service in Cairns to recruit an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead the service into an exciting new chapter.

n

With major renovations planned, this is a fantastic opportunity for a strong leader to come in with fresh ideas, a clear vision and the drive to shape the culture, environment and future direction of the service.
n The Opportunity

n

The service provides care and education for children from six weeks through to school age, including an approved Kindergarten program.

n

Currently rated Meeting National Quality Standard, the foundations are in place, and the focus moving forward is on continued quality improvement and working towards even stronger outcomes across the service.

n

Importantly, you wont be doing it alone. You will have the support of an Assistant Director, Educational Leader and an established team of educators, giving you a solid leadership structure around you as you drive the service forward.

n

The centre offers spacious indoor and outdoor learning environments, including large natural play areas, and has a strong focus on play-based learning, children's curiosity and creating a nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

What We're Looking For

n

We are looking for someone who is confident leading a large service and genuinely enjoys developing people, building culture and creating strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.




n You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
n
- Previous experience as a Centre Director, Service Manager, Assistant Director or senior early childhood leader
n
- Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS, EYLF and relevant Regulations
n
- Confidence leading, mentoring and developing a team
n
- A genuine passion for quality improvement and lifting service standards
n
- Strong operational, occupancy and people-management capability
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Current or ability to obtain all required checks and clearances
n
