Help shape what's next at Engineering

n

Engineering is getting ready for a big change. A recent academic calendar that will shape the way students study and experience university.

n

We're looking for 15 student ambassadors who are curious, approachable and love connecting with others to join our Academic Calendar Transition (ACT) Student Ambassador team.

n

You'll be the student voice in the room. You'll be sharing your perspective, connecting with fellow students, bringing fresh ideas and helping make the transition clear, engaging and a positive experience for everyone.

n

What will you do?

n

n
- Engage with prospective and current students, providing information about ACT, Engineering and the student experience.
n
- Share your student perspective and help students understand and navigate the transition.
n
- Be the eyes and ears of the ACT team, sharing student perspectives, questions and feedback to help us understand how students are perceiving and responding to the transition.
n
- Act as a MyPlan Champion, helping fellow students understand and navigate MyPlan.
n
- Participate in focus groups, discussions and other student engagement activities, sharing insights and ideas that can help make the transition more effective.
n




- Support the planning and preparation for Open Day and other key events, as well as participating in the events themselves.
n
- Participate in Student Information Days, O-Week and other Engineering and UNSW events and promotional activities to help engage students and promote the student experience.
n
- Bring ideas about how ACT information can be communicated in ways that are relevant, accessible and engaging for students.
n
- Welcome students and visitors and provide general event and campus support.
n
- Participate in relevant training and briefings and provide general administrative support where required.
n
- Follow all University health and safety policies and procedures.
n
