Job Description

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow Regional Australia Bank across communities throughout the North West region.

However, you don't necessarily need "BDM" on your resume.

Maybe you've worked in banking. Maybe you've built strong networks in agribusiness, real estate, retail, hospitality, professional services, local government or another customer-focused industry. If you're commercially minded, relationship-driven and enjoy getting out and meeting people, we'd love to hear from you.

The opportunity

This isn't a desk job.

One day you'll be meeting local business owners, the next you'll be attending a community event, networking breakfast or field day. You'll be building relationships, identifying opportunities and connecting people with the right banking solutions.

You'll be the face of Regional Australia Bank in the community and play a key role in helping us grow while staying true to our customer-owned values.

What you'll be doing

- Building meaningful relationships across your region
- Generating new business opportunities and growing referral networks
- Representing the Bank at community and industry events
- Working closely with lending and branch teams to convert opportunities into outcomes
- Developing partnerships that create long-term value for customers and communities
- Managing your pipeline and keeping opportunities moving

About you

- Experience in sales, business development, banking, customer relationship management, account management or community engagement
- A proven ability to create opportunities and influence outcomes

This role supports communities across: Tamworth, Quirindi, Werris Creek, Manilla, Barraba, Coonabarabran, Walcha, Mungindi, Moree, Warialda, Bingara, Inverell, Narrabri and Gunnedah.

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel are essential.
