Fleet Supervisor/Delivery Experience Lead

Our client is a national courier company specialising in last mile delivery. The Brisbane office in Berrinba is in need of a full time person to oversee the performance and retention of a large team of Delivery Professionals working in the Brisbane area for one of Australia's largest retailers.

Based in Berrinba, you will be part of a busy and dynamic team, working 5 days per week from Tuesday to Saturday, 6am to 2pm. A generous salary of $90,000 plus super is on offer plus a $15,000 car allowance. The role is a permanent position with all the usual benefits of a full-time role.

FURTHER DETAILS OF THE ROLE:

n

You will be overseeing the onboarding, retention and performance of a team of Delivery Professionals while building strong relationships within that team

n

You will lead performance reviews while identifying areas for improvement and putting strategies in place to drive outstanding performance

n

You will oversee the safety and compliance requirements of the team

n

You will identify any inefficiencies in processes and operations and contribute to continuous improvement of the fleet

n

Full training in processes and a comprehensive handover will be provided

n

You will need a reliable vehicle and Licence plus a Police Clearance for this role.



Some travel to client warehouse nearby will be required

n

An immediate start would be ideal if possible

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

n

Relevant experience in a similar operational role in the transport or delivery sector

n

The ability to successfully lead a team while building strong relationships

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

n

Previous experience with performance management, budget tracking and process improvements

n

Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements in the transport or delivery sectors

n

Sound IT skills with MS Office and FMS software

n

The ability to solve problems, meet deadlines and be proactive

n

A comprehensive knowledge of Brisbane suburbs

n
