At PMHC, every employee contributes to delivering positiveoutcomes for our community. We are seeking 2 motivated and experienced Arborist/ Tree Workers to join our Vegetation Operations Team. In this hands-on role, you will undertake operationalarboricultural work across Council's public tree network, helping maintain safeand healthy public spaces.

On a typical day, you will:

n

n
- Work with the Vegetation Operations team todeliver programmed and reactive tree maintenance
n
- Undertake pruning, dead wooding, inspections,and tree removals in line with Australian Standards
n
- Carry out site setup including risk assessments,traffic control, and exclusion zones
n
- Complete operational tasks such as chipping,mulching, planting, stump and site clean-up
n
- Apply WHS practices and safe systems of work
n
- Operate and maintain arboriculture plant andequipment
n
- Support planting programs and contribute to teamtraining and protected work practices
n

n

To succeed in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Certificate III in Horticulture (Arboriculture)or equivalent, or Certificate II with commitment to obtain Certificate III
n
- Current MR Driver Licence
n
- Demonstrated arboriculture experience includingpruning and removals
n
- Strong understanding of WHS and SafeWork NSWCode of Practice – Amenity Tree Industry
n
- Ability to undertake tree hazard assessments andinspections
n
- Experience in operational or team-basedenvironments (desirable supervisory experience)
n
- Strong communication skills and computerliteracy
n
- Experience operating EWPs and boom-type plant(National Licence to Perform High Risk Work – WP)
n
- Experience in climbing, rigging, pruning,removals, chipping, stump grinding, planting, and mulching
n




- Knowledge of AS4373 Pruning of Amenity Trees
n
- Experience in programmed and reactivemaintenance environments
n

Remuneration and Benefits

n

Employment Type: Full Time, permanent (38 hours per week, 9-dayfortnight)

n

Salary (exclusive of 12% super): Starting salary of $1326.45 per week with the opportunity for competency-based progression up to $1484.70 per week.
