About the role:

n

In this key role, you will help plan and develop a diverse range of infrastructure projects - from roads, paths and drainage networks to coastal infrastructure, car parks, bridges and public transport facilities.

n

What you’ll be doing:

n

n
- Investigating and refining project scope requirements, developing project documentation and cost estimates.
n
- Managing consultants undertaking studies and investigations.
n
- Supporting grant funding applications and project business cases.
n
- Coordinating stakeholder consultation and engagement activities.
n
- Assisting with statutory approvals and agency clearances.
n
- Contributing to the City's Capital Works Program and annual budgeting processes.
n




- Responding to infrastructure-related customer enquiries.
n
- Collaborating with the design and survey team on required works.
n

n

What you’ll bring to the role:

n

n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Qualifications or subsequent experience in civil engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
n
- Experience in municipal engineering, asset planning or project management.
n
- Knowledge of roads, footpaths, drainage networks and public infrastructure assets.
n
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Desirable but not essential - Experience using a range of software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation , QGIS .
n

- Construction Awareness White Card

- National Police Clearance
n
