Inventory Controller – Padstow (Future move to Badgerys Creek NDC in 2027)

Join a high‐performing Supply & Distribution team and help drive national product availability.

n

O'Brien® is looking for a proactive Inventory Controller to support our supplier network, improve stock availability and strengthen our internal supply chain.

n

This role is based at our Padstow Head Office, with a future relocation to our NEW Badgerys Creek National Distribution Centre in 2027 — a modern, purpose‐built facility designed for long‐term growth.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Create and process purchase orders (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
n
- Manage national & international suppliers
n
- Validate invoices and maintain accurate PO records
n
- Coordinate container deliveries, packing lists and shipping documents
n




- Review forecasts and maintain forecast accuracy
n
- Monitor PTD sales, adjust forecasts and manage danger stock
n
- Issue monthly supplier performance reports
n
- Support branches with product availability enquiries
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement and waste reduction
n

- Inventory management experience

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and customer‐focused mindset

- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work independently
n
- Intermediate MS Word & Excel skills
n
- Automotive knowledge (desirable)
