Our client is a leading national paper manufacturing company and is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand to join their team. Working within a busy industrial environment, you'll be responsible for maintaining site cleanliness, supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring work areas remain safe and efficient.

About the Role

n

Key duties will include:

n

n
- Sweeping corridors, walkways and operational areas
n
- Using blowers to maintain clean and safe workspaces
n
- Hosing down work areas as required
n
- Cleaning around conveyors and production equipment
n
- General housekeeping and yard maintenance
n
- Forklift operation and material handling (where licensed)
n
- Assisting with site operational and maintenance activities
n
- Following strict workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Supporting the operations team with general labouring duties as required
n

What We're Looking For

- Robust work ethic and positive attitude

- Reliability and commitment to long-term employment

- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, labouring, yard hand or industrial environments
n
- Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors when required
n
- Strong focus on safety and following procedures
n
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
n
- Current driver's licence preferred
n
- Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
n
