$46.36 - $54.70 per hour + Casual Loading + Super + Penalty Rates

Wyla provides live-in withdrawal and rehabilitation support for adults based at the Bloomfield Hospital Campus just outside Orange, helping people prepare for recovery beyond their residential stay.

n

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis.

n

Working alongside AOD Clinicians, Treatment Facilitators and Support Workers, you'll play a vital role in supporting people through withdrawal and the early stages of their recovery journey in a safe, supportive and therapeutic workplace.

n

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and health support to people participating in residential withdrawal and rehabilitation programs.

n

You will provide evidence-informed nursing care to people experiencing alcohol and other drug dependency, mental health concerns and co-occurring health conditions while supporting clients throughout their withdrawal and recovery journey.

Key responsibilities include:

- Health assessments and nursing interventions.
n
- Withdrawal monitoring and support.
n
- Medication administration and management.
n
- Care planning and clinical documentation.
n
- Client intake, admissions and transitions into treatment.
n
- Liaison with GPs, pharmacists and other healthcare providers.
n
- Health education and therapeutic support activities.
n




- Supporting a positive and recovery-focused team culture.

As a residential service, shifts will be available across mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Demonstrated ability to deliver person-centred nursing care.
n
- Strong communication, assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
n
- Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
n

n

Highly regarded:

n

n
- Experience in alcohol and other drug services.
n
- Experience in mental health, primary health, community health, correctional health or residential care settings.
n
- Experience supporting people experiencing complex health and social needs.
n

n
