At Next Smile Melbourne, we are looking for a skilled Dental Assistant who loves patient care, working in a surgical and implant clinic with some general dental/high end cosmetic care.

You'll be working alongside an experienced team of dentists and OHTs, getting hands‐on exposure to lots of implants, prosthetics, and advanced procedures — not just the same day on repeat.

We have DA for our OHT's, dedicated steri DA, treatment coordinators

n

Based in our modern Hawthorn practice
n Typical hours: 7:45am–5:45pm (4day week available)

Dental Assistant –

Full-Time | 4days

n Typical hours: 7:45am–5:45pm (4day week available)

What Your Days Will Look Like

n

n
- Chairside assisting, high‐end clinical environment
n
- Supporting Implant & All‐on‐4 surgeries, including surgical and GA cases
n
- Preparing treatment rooms and theatres for a wide range of procedures
n




- Instrument sterilisation and infection control (we do things properly and mostly have a dedicated sterilisation coordiator rostered on each day)
n
- Keeping surgeries stocked, organised, and flowing smoothly
n
- Working closely with surgeons, labs, and treatment coordinators to deliver seamless patient care
n

You'll Thrive Here If You Have...

- Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent, preferred not essential)
n
- At least 2 years' experience in an Australian dental practice
n
- Experience with implant surgery, All‐on‐4 surgery/restorative highly regarded
n
- A calm, confident communication style and great chairside manner
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to be on your feet (you will get your daily steps in)
n
- A positive, team‐first attitude and genuine care for patients
n
