About the Role
n
This is primarily a project delivery and technical consultancy role within an MSP environment.
n
You will work directly with clients to deliver technical projects, perform infrastructure upgrades and migrations, provide technical guidance,
and help organisations get the most from their technology investments.
n
This role would suit an experienced 3rd Line Engineer, Project Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or existing Technical Consultant looking to further develop their consultancy and project delivery skills.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, and networking projects.
n
- Install, configure, and migrate customer environments.
n
- Conduct technical assessments, audits, and health checks.
n
- Provide technical consultancy and best-practice guidance.
n
- Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer where required.
n
- Produce accurate technical documentation and project handovers.
n
- Support complex technical escalations when required.
n
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
n
n
About You
n
You'll have experience working within an MSP or IT services environment and be confident working directly with clients.
n
Experience in several of the following areas would be beneficial:
n
n
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive).
n
- Azure.
n
- Windows Server and Active Directory.
n
- VMware and/or Hyper-V.
n
- Firewalls such as Fortinet, SonicWall, WatchGuard or Palo Alto.
n
- Networking including VLANs, VPNs and routing.
n
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
n
n
You will also possess:
n
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
n
- The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
n
- A proactive and organised approach to work.
n
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
n
n
