Job Description

You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning support of process plant equipment, structural steel, ducting and piping systems at operational mining and industrial sites. The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, interpreting drawings, coordinating lifting activities and guiding trade assistants while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Key responsibilities

n

Mechanical installation and alignment of plant and equipment

n

Structural steel erection and modification

n

Piping and ductwork installation

n

Advanced rigging and dogging activities

n

Coordination of crane lifts and lifting plans

n

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and isometrics

n

Flange management, bolting and pipe fit-up

n

Assisting with commissioning and plant start-up activities

n

Maintaining site safety, quality and environmental standards

n

Working closely with site supervisors,



project managers and client representatives

n

About you

n

Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar

n

High Risk Work Licence – Advanced Rigging (RI)

n

Dogging Licence (DG)

n

Demonstrated mechanical installation experience

n

Experience in mining, heavy industrial, power generation or process plant environments

n

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

n

Strong commitment to safety and quality

n

Valid Australian Driver's Licence

n

Ability to pass O45 Medical and Drug & Alcohol testing

n
