What you'll be doing

- Lead, motivate and develop employees to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives, work orders and treatment operations duties.
n
- Provide effective supervision and oversight to treatment operationsworks, including contracted activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with our values, Zero Harm expectations, policies and legislative requirements.
n
- Oversee and coordinate planned and reactiveworks, working closely with planning and scheduling teams to prioritise resources, respond to incidents and ensure maintenance programs are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
n
- Operate and maintainwater treatment, disinfection and sewage treatment plants, including water quality monitoring, statutory sampling, environmental management systems and the timely response to treatment incidents.

What you'll bring

n

n
- A Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or suitable equivalent.
n
- Experience in the water industry with particular emphasis on water and wastewater treatment processes and management systems and practical knowledge and understanding of treatment plant operations and maintenance.
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
- Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
- Demonstrated success developing, leading and inspiring a team to achieve targets and deliverables.
n
- A valid and current Australian driver's licence is required.
n
