We currently have a vacancy for a site labourer; the candidate will work alongside our Site Supervisor and assist where needed. This is a casual role, with the view to become full time for the right candidate. The role is Gladstone based and the candidate needs to live local to the area.

About the role
n
This is a hands-on position, suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working as part of a team and getting the job done safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- General labouring and manual handling
n
- Loading and unloading materials
n
- Moving tools, equipment and supplies
n
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
n
- Assisting tradespeople and supervisors
n
- Using basic hand tools and equipment
n
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Other general duties as required
n

About you
n
n
- Hold a construction white card or ability to obtain
n
- Have the ability to pass medical and drug and alcohol test if required
n
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
- Have a positive attitude and robust work ethic
n
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual work
n
- Be able to follow instructions and work well in a team
n
- Have a strong commitment to safety
n
- Previous labouring or construction experience is an advantage
