Job Description

NEXX is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our team in a full-time role based at a single commercial site in Matraville. This is a hands-on role where you'll work independently, with the support of an experienced team, maintaining the site's grounds and ensuring the outdoor areas remain safe, tidy and well presented throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

n

Lawn mowing, edging and brush cutting.

n

Garden maintenance, pruning and hedging.

n

Weed control and general grounds presentation.

n

Irrigation checks and minor repairs.

n

Leaf removal and site clean-up.

n

Safe operation and maintenance of grounds equipment.

n

Identify and report maintenance issues as required.

n

About you

n

Experience in commercial grounds or landscape maintenance.

n

Experience operating commercial grounds maintenance equipment.

n

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

n

Reliable,



positive attitude and solid work ethic.

n

Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.

n

Current Driver Licence and White Card.

n

Willing to complete a National Police Check (arranged by us).
