Job Description

Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, you will lead our Internal Sales & Customer Service team and be responsible for ensuring our customers receive an outstanding experience while maximising sales opportunities. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead and develop the team while remaining actively involved in customers, quotations, sales opportunities and day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

n

Lead, coach and develop the Internal Sales & Customer Service team.

n

Manage incoming enquiries and ensure they are responded to quickly and professionally.

n

Oversee quotations from preparation through to follow-up and conversion.

n

Proactively follow up outstanding quotes and sales opportunities.

n

Identify opportunities to increase sales through upselling and cross-selling.

n

Work closely with our Business Development Managers to support and convert opportunities.

n

Build solid relationships with customers and ensure issues are resolved quickly.

n

Coordinate customer requirements across Sales, Service, Production, Warehouse and Operations.

n

Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

n

Monitor team performance and establish clear KPIs.

About you

n

Experience in internal sales, customer service,



sales administration or a similar role.

n

Previous experience leading, mentoring or coordinating a team.

n

Strong sales and commercial instincts.

n

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

n

A proactive approach to following up opportunities and getting results.

n

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

n

The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

n

Excellent attention to detail.

n

Confidence dealing with customers and resolving issues.

n

Solid computer, CRM and ERP skills.
