The Role

n

Due to continued growth, MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Servicemen, Timbermen and Service Crew personnel to join our team on a major underground construction project in Central West NSW.

n

Depending on your experience, your duties may include:

n

n
- Installing, extending and maintaining underground mine services
n
- Installing and maintaining ventilation, water, air and dewatering services
n
- Installing pipes, cables and associated infrastructure
n
- Completing rock drilling as required for underground construction and service installations
n




- Assisting with general underground construction and service crew duties
n
- Inspecting work areas, equipment and services
n
- Working closely with supervisors and other underground personnel
n
- Completing all work safely and in accordance with site procedures
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience as an Underground Serviceman, Timberman or Service Crew member
n
- Demonstrated underground mining experience
n
- Experience installing and maintaining underground services
n
- Relevant licences, tickets and competencies for the role
n
- Ability to work safely and follow site procedures
n
- Availability to work a 2:1 roster across day and night shifts
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
