We are a team of highly skilled technicians who specialise in a wide range of engineering services. We provide customised preventative maintenance, make improvements to the processes and modifications to machines for better performance and efficiency as well as complete overhaul of machinery including lubrication and rebuilding of hydraulic parts.

We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to service a number of clients in Melbourne and surrounding areas. The role encompasses general routine, preventative and reactional maintenance of plant and machinery. Ability to use hand and power tools safely is essential. Applicant also must be able to work alone as well as in a team.

The position is full time with base annual salary of $83,000 plus Superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical fitting, maintenance, and repair of large industrial machinery

Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance in production environments

Diagnose faults quickly and implement effective solutions

Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal downtime





Understand and adapt to different production processes and workflows

Maintain accurate service and maintenance records

Follow strict safety and quality procedures at all times

Successful applicant must have:

· Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Cert III Mechanical Engineering, Fitter Turner, etc. or equivalent

· Knowledge of instrumentation, control, and automation engineering principles

· Solid understanding of production processes within manufacturing environments, essential to support our predominantly manufacturing-focused client base

· Expertise in maintenance management and asset reliability strategies

· At least one year of experience in site preventative maintenance procedures, machine installations and modifications

· Experience with hydraulic systems and components

· Fault diagnostic skills

· Reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics

Other licences, qualifications and experiences that will be highly regarded:

· Experienced with lubrication systems

· Work in confined spaces
