We are currently seeking a Foundry Labourer to join our Dalby operations on a full-time, permanent basis , with regular overtime available.

About the Role

As a Foundry Labourer, you will support our manufacturing operations across areas such as Beforecast and the Melt Shop . Depending on operational requirements, your duties may include preparing sand moulds, operating foundry equipment and assisting with the metal melting and casting process.

This role offers:

You will work as part of a skilled production team in a fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce moulds and cores using boxed and boxless moulding techniques
- Prepare moulds for the casting of molten metal
- Select appropriate moulding boxes and report equipment defects




- Operate sand mixing machinery and other foundry equipment
- Assist with Melt Shop operations and the metal casting process
- Safely handle materials, tools and equipment
- Correctly use and maintain PPE and safety equipment
- Maintain clean and organised work areas
- Follow workplace procedures and safe work practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement across production operations

About You

You will demonstrate:

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- The physical capability to perform hands-on work in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts or lifting equipment is desirable but not essential
- Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is beneficial; however, it is not required, as full training will be provided.
