Based at the Gladstone Service Centre, this position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the business, coordinating customer requirements and scheduling work across the team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can confidently manage competing priorities and takes pride in providing qualified and responsive customer service.
Key responsibilities
Providing friendly and professional customer service in person, over the phone and via email
Receiving and responding to customer enquiries
Scheduling and coordinating customer bookings and service requirements
Allocating and coordinating jobs with the operational team
Monitoring scheduled work and adjusting priorities as requirements change throughout the day
General administration and data entry
Preparing and processing job documentation
Maintaining accurate customer and service records
Assisting with invoicing, purchase orders and other administrative processes
Liaising with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
About you
Previous experience in customer service, administration or a similar role
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Confidence scheduling and coordinating multiple jobs or competing priorities
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
Clear and professional communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
The ability to remain organised when priorities change
A positive attitude and willingness to assist where required
