Code Fire Protection is looking for a reliable and organised Casual Storeman & Delivery Driver to assist with the day-to-day running of our Moorabbin factory and deliveries to project sites across Melbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is physically capable, highly organised and has strong attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and organising incoming deliveries
- Picking and preparing materials for upcoming projects
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Delivering materials, tools and equipment to construction sites across Melbourne
- Collecting materials from suppliers
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked factory
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting items requiring replenishment
- Preparing tools, equipment and materials for site crews
- Checking products carefully before dispatch
- General warehouse,
factory and storeman duties as required
About you
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be comfortable with early morning starts
- Hold a current Victorian driver's licence
- Be physically fit and capable of regularly lifting and moving heavy items
- Have robust attention to detail
- Have good organisational skills
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be able to prioritise tasks when multiple jobs require materials
- Be confident driving around Melbourne and attending active construction sites
- Have a practical, hands-on attitude
