Remuneration: $37.66 to $39.51 per hour + superannuation & leave loading

Campaspe Shire Council is seeking a passionate and driven Customer Service Officer to help deliver high-quality service to our community.

About the Role

The Customer Service Officer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Deliver high-quality, timely, and qualified customer service across multiple channels, including face-to-face, phone, email, webchat, and SMS.
- Respond to customer enquiries and service requests in accordance with Council's Customer Experience Strategy and Customer Service Charter.
- Operate effectively in front desk, call centre, and service centre environments while undertaking associated administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate information flow and provide information and support to internal and external customers.
- Promote and uphold Council's positive public image through all customer interactions.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including payments, banking, reconciliations,



and services on behalf of external agencies such as VicRoads and Victoria Police.
- Provide advice and assistance on Council services using Council systems, policies, and procedures.
- Deliver basic library services where required within service centres.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Business Administration (or related field), or relevant on-the-job experience.
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office and customer database systems.
- A valid Driver's Licence.
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Satisfactory National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
