Event and Function Co-ordinator (Part Time Contract)

Contract Role | 2-3 Days a Week | Now until December 2026

Queensland's premier catering company, D A L T O N Catering , is looking for an experienced and hands-on event specialist to join our team in a part-time capacity (2-3 days per week) from now until the end of 2026. This contract role is ideal for someone passionate about event sales and delivery, with a strong background in managing event logistics and executing events.

About the Role:
You'll work closely with our operations and sales teams both on- and off-site, playing a key role in event planning, coordination, and execution . We operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where attention to detail and clear communication are everything.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in planning and overseeing event logistics and set-up
- Supporting daily operations and assisting with event delivery
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Leading Front of House teams during events




- Leading as the in office event manager and problem-solving expert

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience in event coordination or event sales
- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, multitask and solve problems on the go
- Confidence in working directly with clients and event teams
- A good understanding of the Brisbane/QLD event scene is a plus
