Security Officer - Night Mobile Patrols | Noosa Shire (Permanent Part time)

Pay: $36-$39 per hour + 12% super - permanent part-time night patrols with guaranteed regular

hours. Weekend and public holiday penalties on top under the Security Services Industry Award.

CK9 Security & Services (CK9-SAS) has run mobile patrols across the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba

for more than 20 years, with a patrol through Noosa Shire every night of the year. Our clients

include shopping centres, schools, community facilities and some of Australia's biggest property

About the roles - a new dedicated Noosa Shire night patrol run, starting late October 2026

We are standing up a new run and hiring:

- Two permanent part-time Patrol Officers (guaranteed regular nights, shared 7-night rotation)
- Casual relief officers on the same run

What you'll do

- Mobile night patrols in a marked patrol vehicle, roughly 9pm to 5.30am
- Lock-up checks and morning unlocks of parks, libraries, halls and facilities, Peregian to Pomona
- Alarm and incident response with monitoring centres and police
- GPS-logged reporting on our patrol app - every visit timed and photographed, no paper books




- Paid buddy shifts with a senior officer before you go solo

What you'll need

- Current QLD security licence (unarmed) - OR live in Noosa Shire and be willing to get one: we fund the Cert II and licence for suitable local applicants
- Open driver's licence and a clean driving record
- Genuine availability for overnight shifts, including weekends
- Comfortable working alone at night, calm under pressure, clear written reports

Nice to have (but not essential)

- Alarm response or mobile patrol experience
- First aid certificate
- Blue card - useful for our school sites, and we'll help you get one
- Cash-in-transit licence - tell us, we have a daytime role for you
