Video Content Editor Position: Media Content Creator

Employment Type: Part-Time (30 Hours per Week)

Remuneration: $30 – $40 per hour (ex. super, depending on experience) Location: Melbourne / Remote hybrid

Role Overview

Triple Axel is seeking a dynamic, multi-talented Social Media Content Creator to drive organic engagement, visual storytelling, and digital content campaigns across our growing portfolio. Reporting directly to our Marketing Manager Kirstie Wood, you will play a hands‑on role in converting creative concepts into high-performing social content for Triple Axel, our sub-brands (including Creative Currency and Descendant Films), and our education focused accounts. This role is ideal for a fast, adaptable creator who thrives in a shoot‑edit‑publish workflow, understands the nuances of modern social algorithms, and can authentically translate brand stories across vertical video formats.

Key Responsibilities

- Content Production & Shoot Execution: Shoot, edit, and publish high-quality short‑form vertical video (15–60s) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Operate tight 1–3person field set‑ups (lighting, audio, camera/mobile capture) for on‑site interviews, events, and client activations (such as our September Education Summit).



Edit quick‑paced, narrative‑led vertical content using either Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strategy Implementation & Asset Management: Work closely with Marketing and Production Manager Kirstie Wood to execute campaign objectives and targeted sector pushes across Education K-12 & Tertiary and NFP accounts. Adapt long‑form audio/video content – Creative Currency podcast episodes and other productions into social clips and YouTube videos. Maintain organised Google Shared Drive folders for raw footage, logos, stills, final edits and copy writing assets.

Key Requirements & Experience

- Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on experience in video editing, social media content creation, digital agency workflows or in‑house marketing.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in video editing, basic audio balancing, colour grading (stills and motion).
