As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for preparing, decorating and finishing a wide range of cakes, including celebration cakes, custom designs and specialty cakes.

Key responsibilities

Masking and finishing cakes to a high standard

Decorating cakes using piping, buttercream, fondant and other techniques

Creating custom cake designs according to customer requirements

Preparing and decorating celebration and special occasion cakes

Working with fondant and creating detailed cake decorations

Maintaining consistent quality, presentation and attention to detail

Ensuring cakes are completed within required timeframes

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic work area





Following food safety and workplace procedures

Working closely with the team to meet daily production requirements

About you

Previous professional cake decorating experience

Strong masking, piping and finishing skills

Experience with fondant and custom cake designs

Excellent attention to detail and presentation

Creativity and a passion for cake decorating

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Positive communication and teamwork skills

Reliable and positive attitude

Ability to work weekends and busy trading periods when required
